Portrait Artist & Portrait Painter Penny Richardson
has been painting original and unique children portraits in either gouache, pastel or oils that will last many generations since 1984.
Penny will paint people from sittings and has done a self-portrait in oils looking into a mirror. However, she mainly uses photographs and we have a photographic studio and use the very latest Bowen's Mono Blocs to capture that perfect shot.
To use the studio is free for portrait painting customers, however, if you would like a set of photos after the painting portrait is complete then normal photographic charges apply.
Penny believes the most important elements in child portraiture is capturing the youth & innocence & likeness of the child, I have many years practice at this, say's portrait artist Penny.
In the process of portrait painting a child the most delicate colours are used individually mixed with white, for example: Spectrum violet, ultra marine, magenta, yellow ochre, bengal rose, venetian red, brilliant orange etc, applied separately in layers creates a luminous, almost peach like quality portrait painting.

A deposit of £50.00 is required before starting a painting. The remaining balance is to be paid before posting.
