Penny was born in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, and brought up at Northfield Farm, Cold Overton on the border of the County of Rutland. Penny is the daughter of John and Bunty Whadcoat, her father being the Great Grandson of the original John Player from Nottingham.
Penny's mother was an accomplished war artist, and Penny, following in her mother's footsteps, has been painting Fine Art Pet and People Portrait's professionally since the mid 1980’s.
At college, Penny achieved three A’levels. She scored an A in Art and then completed an art foundation course at Loughborough Art College.
Penny receives commissions regularly from all over the UK. Do please contact her with your ideas, for she will always consider, whatever the challenge.
